Meryl Streep and Don Gummer
The way these two met was in the light of some dark circumstances. Streep was mourning the loss of her boyfriend at the time, John Cazale, who passed away too early in life. At the time, her brother Harry came along with a friend – Don. Just six months later, the pair said: “I do.”
Their wedding was a pretty low-key affair, happening in 1978. While he isn’t a “celebrity” in the same way Meryl Streep is, he’s quite a celebrated sculptor! He has been doing him, winning awards, and having his work featured in public commissioned art! Pretty cool!
