Times Square in New York is a place that every tourism guide suggests visiting, yet it may not live up to the hype. Situated in the heart of Manhattan at a huge intersection, you’ll be confronted by large, bustling crowds, continuous advertisements, and loud noise as people constantly attempt to grab your attention while putting on some sort of display. The problem is that the very aspect that draws people here is also what drives them away; it lacks true distinctiveness.
Times Square offers an experience as it’s a convergence point of numerous busy lives. However, the specific activities available there aren’t really one – of – a – kind. The advertisements can be seen on television, and the stores can be found in other locations as well.
