John Lennon

John Lennon, the visionary musician and peace activist, left an indelible mark on the world before his tragic death at 40. He was shot and killed outside his New York City apartment on December 8, 1980, by Mark David Chapman.

Lennon once said, “Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans,” a poignant reflection from a man whose music with The Beatles and solo work continues to inspire.
